Nx86 is independent. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Nintendo.

Nx86 does not ship games, firmware, keys, SDK code, saves, or copyrighted binary blobs.

If a user points Nx86 at their own files, those files are their responsibility. They must be legally obtained and used only where the law allows it.

Nx86 Source Available License - view and study for personal non-commercial evaluation. GPLv3 is planned for v1.0.

Generated caches or folders may still be derived from user-provided content. Treat them like the original files: local use only, no sharing.
